Maryland Association of Blind Students

Students who are blind or have low vision often find it helpful to network with other blind students who have had similar school experiences. The Maryland Association of Blind Students is an organization which connects high school and college students who are blind from across the state. The Maryland Association of Blind Students is planning a summer seminar; please check back often for more details. Also, a web page for the Maryland Association of Blind Students is coming soon! The National Association of Blind Students is an organization which connects students who are blind from across the country.  For information about the National Association of Blind Students, and more fantastic student resources, please visit http://www.nabslink.org. The Maryland Association of Blind Students provides support, information, and encouragement to blind high school, college and university students. This division of the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland helps students to overcome negative attitudes about blindness from school personnel. The division provides information about rehabilitation services, assistive technology, and other resources of particular use to students. The division also offers strong advocacy and motivational support.
